Which bar is best for cats or dogs?
All Chubbs Bars work the same—only the scent varies. Pick any scent you love and get the same great results.

What about certain coat colors?
Same answer! All bars clean, degrease, and brighten. Just choose your favorite scent.

Note: “Mighty White” are private label bars we make for ShowSeason Grooming. They contain extra color enhancers.

Is it safe for sensitive skin?
Yes—try our the Unscented Original or Sugar Scrub bar. Both are gentle and effective. Sugar Scrub adds natural exfoliation, too.

What about pets with skin conditions?
Our bars are for healthy pets only. For pets with conditions, consult a vet. Some groomers use Chubbs Bars first, followed by a medicated product.

Can I use Chubbs Bars on other animals?
Yes! Great for horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, and even show chickens. Just lather and rinse—no mixing.

Why does it feel like there’s residue?
That squeaky clean feel may just be a truly degreased coat. If needed, follow with conditioner. See our how-to video for tips.

How long does a bar last?
On average: cats/small dogs = 10–12 washes, large dogs = 8–10 washes, horses = 5–6 washes.

Extend life with our Chubby Saver—adds 2–3 more washes and makes handling easier. Get one for $5.

Where can I find the ingredients?
We don’t list them publicly to protect our formula, but all bars are free of sulfates, essential oils, d’limonene, and other harmful ingredients.

As long as you get the suds going before lathering the cat it works great. Much more affordable than F&T for the average cat parent

It lathers up well and is easy to rinse out. Worked great on my cat.

My white Persian has allergies and has been itchy and needed a bath. I went on YouTube for some xtra grooming tips and came across some groomers who use Chubb’s and recommended it. I loved that it sudsed well, but loved even more that it rinsed so clearly. Even after the first round, she was squeaky clean. Then later after she was totally dry, her fur was soft as can be. And she was as white as ever, even on her paws where she cleans her eye goobers. She feels better, I can tell. And after a major winter brush out, and Chubbs, I don’t feel like I need to clip her shorter for the summer.
